Beadwork Workshop with Grandmother Shore

In this day workshop, Grandmother Shore will guide you through the basics of hand beading. We will cover straight stitch hand beading. 

Please note: There will be no loom beading suring thsi workshop. 

What should you bring for your beading? Feel free to bring any of the items below

• Feather
• If you have joined our drum making wowkrshop, bring your Drumstick and create beadwork for it!
• If you have joined our Moccasin making workshop, or have moccasins you've made, bring them to make a mocassin topper
• Or - feel free to make a hair barrete - just let us know

We will also be covering some of the mnemonics and some of the history of beading.

Kids welcome from age 8 and above. 

Friendly reminder: This is an all hand beading. No loom beading.

FAQ

Do I need any experience? 

No, no experienced required. 

Do you offer accomodations? I am traveling from a distance.

We have 4 single beds available and 1 small private room with a folding matress - first come first serve for an additional $20/per person. If you still need to stay and all beds are occupied, you can camp out in our breathwork area, just bring a matress/yoga mat and your linens. All good. No extra cost for that!

Are meals included in this retreat?

This is a self-caterging event. That means bring your meals and we will give you access to our kitchen to prepare anything you need. You will also have access to a refrigerator if you need to store food in a cool place. We will offer coffee, teas, juices and water as part of the weekend.
